Urgent Prayer

If you are reading this, I am eternally grateful because it means you care about what is happening in our world.

Last night as I was writing a post about our short, but sweet visit with Nanny & Pa (which may be posted at a later date), I found out about my girlfriends daughter, C. She is a beautiful 9 year old princess who loves hockey (my type of girl, eh?!) and being with friends. Their whole family has been an incredible gift to us over and over and over. Today her mom, J will be taking her to Emergency first thing for a CAT scan. She has been having some headaches and double vision which led her mom to take her to a neuroligst. Last night the neurologist called and said to take her to the hospital this morning instead of waiting for their appt scheduled in over 2 weeks.

So this morning they will be heading to the hospital. I ask that you pray for them, for the family. For a peace that passes all understanding, courage that only can come from Christ and determination to face this head on. I can only imagine the anxiety that may be looming over J & Y about this situation. My heart is heavy and my eyes are tearful. Please pray with me. Please pray that we, their church family, know how to serve them well. I will keep you updated.
