6 Days Gone ...

... and no post! So sorry. I have completely been overwhelmed with life, but then aren't we all? That's really no excuse for taking time out for myself and posting. True ... for myself! I love the time I spend writing and sharing our life story with you-that's if you care to read it!

I have to share a cute story that took place this morning at church.

One of the things I am HUGE on in our home is respect. And respect come manners. So over the past two years of Buddy's life (which happen to be his first two!!) please and thank you have been very consistent. Before he could talk, he was using sign language to communicate with us. We used the basic one with him-please, thank you, more, all done. And he caught on fast. He still uses the 'more' sign with the word to communicate it.

Well, needless to say, the phrases he often hears from us are "Say 'Please Mommy'" or "'Say 'Thank you Daddy'". And very often, he says them without prompting. I have a real gentleman on my hands I tell you! Today after church, he was eating his snack (which were alphabet whole wheat pretzels he calls A-B-C-D's, not just A-B-C's!) when the bass player from the worship team approached him and asked "Buddy, can I have some A-B-C-D's?" His response?

"Say peez"!!

Unfortunately I did not witness the event, I heard the story from G! But I can't tell you how I wish I was there! Just to hear him say 'peez' is adorable. To hear him make sure someone else used that magic work? Must have been memorable! I am so incredibly proud! Now I wait for the day he corrects me!

Oh and by the way, he did share his A-B-C-D's! What a kid ...
