Thank you soooo much for your thoughts and prayers today. God has shown himself merciful once again! (Please read previous post here for prayer request.) Below is the email I received from my girlfriend this evening after she told me the GREAT news over the phone. I am in awe of God's faithfulness in hearing our prayers. Thank you once again!
Hi everyone,
I have the extraordinary news that C is fine!!!!!!! Thank God for his goodness!!!!
We had a very difficult 24 hours, the family doctor and the emergency room doctor thought she had a brain tumor. But, thank God, the CAT scan was normal!!! The ophthalmologist found that she had a spasm of a muscle of the lens of her right eye, plus rapidly deteriorating nearsightedness and astigmatism (which was different in both eyes). All of this caused her double vision and headaches. They are confident that glasses will correct it all. The neurologist doesn't know why her neurological exam was also abnormal. Looks like it's nothing.
We are also grateful that we were able to do all these consultations and tests in one day, and that C was so patient through it all.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and support. When the floor was slipping under our feet, we had God and you to give us hope and faith and peace and support.
