I was informed last week, that my son had been exposed to Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease. Apparently if he was to catch it, symptoms would start within 3-7 days. This is day 7! I am soooooo holding my breath. This is NOT something I want in my home. You would see the basic symptoms-crankiness, decreased appetite, sore throat, fever-and then in a couple days some lovely blister like sores on the hands and feet and in the mouth. Lovely!! *rolling eyes, shrugged shoulders*
Well ... today he ate breakfast just fine, but the crankiness is more than normal. This is where a mother says, "ok, chill lady! He's in his terrible twos!" or she freaks out and starts to panic, especially with the threat of Swine Flu in the news! Oh man. I think I'm leaning towards just 'chillin'! At least that's what I'll try today. *SIGH* This is so NOT cool!

This sickness always gives me the cringes ... my boys have never had it - thankfully - but have been in places where it was. It seems like such an icky one!! I'm sure you're out of the woods by day 7!!
