Sunday night, G and I took off for a night getaway-way overdue I might add! One things we decided to take with us was the PS2 and the movie "FIREPROOF". (PS2 was so we could play the movie, really!!!) This movie was lent to us a few weeks back to take a look at. You may remember "Facing the Giants". "Fireproof" was created by the same team. We watched it, with a few pauses here and there for conversation and a bunch of the special features, I think it is one I would like for our DVD library.
Why don't you take a peek at it? It is available for rent or purchase it on iTunes, or you can order it here. Either way, take a look and tell me what you think. Just know, that this is NOT the challenge. The challenge I am up for, is yet to be shared here ... watch the movie. It will give you a heads up!

I loved this movie.. it was great!
Hiya;
The problem with movies like this is that it doesn't deal with reality with real lives. It forces, with sentiment and washed-up actors, bad marriages to stay together and to ignore what is best for everyone in the relationship, kids included. Been there, done that Alex. Kids ultimately suffer when bad marriages stay together. Fear of the unknown, of starting over, and of being alone keep people together.
One day I hope you'll get there and to do what is best for you.
