Another Update on Dad's Recovery

I just got off the phone with my mother who updated me on Dad. He has had a rough day today with three shots of morphine to numb the pain. His appetite ceases to exist except for a strawberry mom fed him against his will, but with the encouragement of his nurses. Mom says the surgeon has been very good to them, checking in on Dad every so often and giving them a play by play of what to expect. The word is that it should get worse before he gets better. We are hoping and praying this is the "worse" being referred to.
