Last week was a crazy one for me as I had four face to face interviews, three telephone ones, and three phone calls that elliminated themselves in the first three minutes! To top it off, they were all in my field as an educator. By Thursday, there were three offers on the table that I could choose between. In the end I chose the stable job (versus a contract one that varies from season to season) that is flexible beyond belief. I can choose my days, my hours and have been offered more than their regular start salary for educators. I feel incredibly blessed and completely amazed at how God answers prayers.
G and I talked and prayed specifically for a job that would fit into a specific schedule so not to take me away from being a mom or home-keeper primarily! And here's this job that fits those criteria. We are so grateful. Now to actually get into the mode of having to go to work!
On another note, this morning we went for breakfast with G's family. And you will never guess who was there ... or maybe you will if you believe in miracles.
LINA was there! In the past week, she has had two 'field trips' from you home (Pallative Care) while her sister N is here visiting from Calgary. Today was one of those trips. We joined a bunch of the family for breakfast at a restaurant and really enjoyed ourselves. Grandbabies, great-grandbabies, daughters, uncles, nieces, almost the whole gang was there. We are so thankful for the time together and Lina's presence there. She is and has always been the life of the party. Lina and her battle with Cancer posts will give you a bit of the bankground if you are curious or unaware. Thank you for your prayers and support for her! God is faithful.
Here are a few of the pix we captured this morning. Man, Lina's a beaut, eh!?
