Today is an overcast day with 70% chance of rain this morning and then thunder-showers this afternoon. It is the perfect day for a sigh. And trust me, there have been more than just a couple!
Have you every made plans only to have them thwarped? Has it ever happened more than once for the same plan? Well here's ours:
A STUPID POOL! You heard me ... stupid! (Don't read this to my son quite yet. Still trying to avoid that word!) Last summer you may remember a post or two of mine regarding a 'steal of a deal' we got for an above ground pool. A year ago to the day we went, dismantled, paid and transported a great pool-only it is still not resurrected. The hole is there, the frame has been leveled, the drain installed and the sand has been put down, but the rest is yet to happen.
Today, July 1st, was our fourth day set aside to install and fill this sucka. And guess what? The weather is not cooperating. If it wasn't the weather, it was last minute things that had to take place. I'm starting to wonder if we are 'meant' to have this pool!
So as it stands today ... the pool will have to wait thanks to the weather. The sand will get wet due to the wonderful rain. And I will sigh more than a dozen times at the thought we may never get this thing installed. Oh well ... maybe we'll get the garage sorted. Maybe? *sigh*
