Unknown Friends
There is something about friends you've never met, loving your child.
G is working on a renovation project that has given him the opportunity to build a relationship with the home owners. K & N have welcomed G with open arms, inviting him to stay for supper, even spend the night if the weather is too bad that he doesn't want to drive home. He has taken them up on both offers! I however, have yet to meet them. And what did they send home with him before Christmas? A gift for our son.
Christmas morning there was a lot happening. Gifts to open. Breakfast feast to eat. Hugs for Nanny & Pa. When it came to the gift from K & N, Buddy was thrilled. He stopped right away, read the book and started the puzzles in it. You see, the gift was a Caillou alphabet-train-puzzle book. Whew ... that's a doozy! If you have read any of my previous posts, you will have noticed my sons love of trains, singing his alphabet and counting. Needless to say, this book was a TRUE WINNER! Perfect really, encompassing everything my bundle of joy looks for, plays with or sings about everyday, all day. It amazes me how people would think of my son, of us, without haven't met us yet. After all, we are the significant 2/3rds of the family!
Thank you K & N ... you are incredibly generous and I look forward to meeting you ... one day!
