Did you read the previous post? If not, now would be a good time. If you did, then you'll understand what I mean by 'more' birthday blues.
Poor Buddy is still ill. This time with the famous diarreah. We must have gone through 5 sets of PJ's yesterday which means my washing machine was running constantly. So now he's on the BRAT diet-Banana, Rice, Applesauce, Toast-recommended by my friend Dr. J. Today is a bit better, but still not my fun-lovin', ready to dance young man.
To top that off, Wednesday night I went to run Buddy his bath. I turned on the hot water tap and nothing. I mean NOTHING! No water! So I turned on the cold tap. There was plenty of cold water there. No hot water on our top floor, just cold. G went downstairs to check the main level, and both the hot and cold were plentiful. So the tub was filled the old fashioned way. Well, semi-old fashioned. Tubs of hot water filled the tub, while the cold water kept it just right.
We cropped it up to the -40C weather freezing some of our pipes. But then yesterday, no easy accesible warm water for an ill little boy, made life that much more fun. When it came time to shower this morning, there wasn't even cold water in our ensuite shower. The sink has cold, no hot, the shower doesn't have either. Gotta love c-c-c-c-cold winters! So I went to use the shower downstairs (which yesterday was fine) but was completely unlucky today. Only hot water, no cold! Life is a crazy journey wouldn't ya say? I did end up getting a shower, (our friend who lives in the bachelor quite has no issues with their water) and am moving along with our day!
