Trains, Trains & More Trains

There's something to be said for having a SON! No pretty pink bows, no floral dresses and no ballet slippers. Instead there are pirate ships, preppy, stripped polo t's and 4-wheeled toys all over the place. And then we were introduced to TRAINS! I'm trying to figure out exactly how it started, and I can't. All of sudden, everything was "choo choo". Actually, come to think of it, I think it was at Miss Lana's. Downstairs in her well-organized, beautiful home (she is my hero when it comes to taking care of one's home!), she has the whole Thomas the Tank Engine table. Dozens of trains and bridges ... seems like heaven for Buddy. He used to say Lana's name "ana ana ana" when we got into her neighbourhood, now it's "choo choo". Just kidding, he still says her name, but it sure dies down a lot earlier than it used to. Sorry Miss Lana!

On top of that, "Uncle" Pierre introduced Buddy to a website - Thomas & Friends and now it's time for Momma to kick in some boundaries when it comes to the computer (can you believe it? The kid is 20 mths old! Thx a lot people!) So I had to get involved somehow ... they say if you can't beat 'em, join 'em right? So, I purchased the game of Thomas & Friends that goes along with his Little Leaps Grow-with-Me game. He's on it right now for the first time. Soooooo excited to see soooooo many trains AND have control of them. He's still getting used to the joystick, but I think it will be something he enjoys for awhile!

Of course, to top it all off, he will be visiting some cousins in England come January, and they are CRAZY about Thomas. I'm sure they will find something in common ...
