We are enjoying incredibly great weather for September out here. All week it was in the low 20's and it is forecasted to stay that way for this new week! We hope it sticks around until next Saturday as we are having our 2nd annual Fall into Autumn Corn Party! If are you able to make it ... please do!
As for our weekend, we went to visit some friends at their campsite for the day yesterday ... LOVED IT! The weather was perfect for a September Saturday, we were right on the water and enjoyed a fire in the evening. Buddy spent some time throwing rocks in the water, as well as playing with this Thomas the Train Take Along set. (We introduced it to him yesterday for the first time and he sat there for almost 2 hours straight playing with it at the picnic table! I think you could say he was enjoying it!) And then today we decided to conquer a few needed maintenance and renos around the house. We (well, Gino) worked on a huge pine bush that was completely overgrown ... it's almost gone as I write this! Yeah! I can't wait to be able to see my property from the front porch without having this big, green, ugly, overgrown bush in front of me! Here are a few during pix ... after pix to come in the days ahead!
The big green bush behind the bed of weeds you see?
yeah ... that's what's comin' out!
(One day the weed bed will be dealt with too!)
See? Half way there! Go G!
Tis almost all gone!
PS I can't believe I didn't post for a whole week ... stink!
PSS Mon morn updated! Gino and one of 2 trunks and it ALL GONE!

hey girl ...
So I am SO envious of your home. I can just see the snow falling, singing carols around the REAL fireplace ... SO ENVIOUS!!! It actually is the replica of the home I grew up in - except we were only on a 1/4 acre. I have wonderful memories there and I'm certain your family will do the same!!
xo
Whoa! You have a YARD on the other side of that bush. I never knew. That took a LOT of work. Yay Gino!
