I realized that other day, that I had not put a 'plug' for the scrapbooking program that I use for my digi-scrap layouts. I guess I kinda forgot 'cause I'm not completely sold on it. It is the Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus software. I have to say that it has been incredible to get started with digi-scrapping. It is very basic and is sooooo easy to use. Most digi-scrappers that I know are Adobe Photoshop Element users and so I downloaded the 30 day trial software but found it incredibly complex and I was overwhelmed. So I continued with my Storybook software and all my layouts thus far have been done with that.
However, now that I have been digi-scrapping for awhile, I am bored with Storybook. Not to say I'm unhappy with the LO (layouts) I've done with it. I just find that it doesn't have all the features that I see on various digi-LO done by others (ie. swirl journalling, shape and alpha brushes etc).
So, I want to plug Storybook because I think it was a GREAT start for me. However, I am eager to move to the next level of digi-scrapping, and I think in order to do that I need to be using Photoshop Elements. I'm looking and hoping for a new laptop soon (for the business of course! hehehe) which will probably have the new program! I'll keep you posted ...
