Park Memories

We are pretty fortunate to live in the country.  We live on a couple acres with a pond, and lots of room to run.  It truly is perfect for our little man.  However, as with everything in life, there are some cons.  For us, the biggest con is that we can't walk to the local neighbourhood park and make new friends.  (I know ... pretty pathetic con if you ask me, but we feel it sometimes)  However, we did find a GREAT park in the little village 2-3 minutes drive away.  Otherwise known as a 7km bike ride when momma's feelin energetic and the weather is cooperating! 

Anyway, this park truly has everything - waterpark, 3 different play structures, 2 sets of swings, tennis courts, soccerfields, beach volleyball nets, baseball diamond, basketball hoops and to top it all off, skareboard/bike ramps!  Oh yeah, and bathrooms, hiking trails and picnic tables.  I think I got it all.  We spent many hours there this past summer, and I plan on a few more being spent there during the beautiful fall days.  A couple times Buddy and I went there with some girlfriends and their kids.  LOVED IT!  And sometimes we went just the two of us.  I think one of the best times was when we went as a family.  There was an extra twinkle in Buddy's eye when we got there and Daddy was there too!  Hopefully the pages I scrapped below give you a little sense of our time together.
