Fall Sets In

Friday. Probably my favourite day of the week.

I work out of the home 4 days a week, leaving Friday to have the morning with my son and the afternoon to deal with the business bookkeeping. And today is no exception. This morning we have already had breakfast, played with puzzles and gone for a walk/bike ride down the street. AND it's only 9:30!! The air is crisp and the leaves are turning their bright shade of red. It really is the only part of Autumn I like. Otherwise, it is strictly the season before the long, cold winter here in Quebec and that season I'm still getting used to!

So this morning we spent some time mastering our new talent. Buddy has started to understand the whole bike thing. Thanks to LB, he has his first tricycle, but his little legs are still a bit short! Riding backwards seems to be the easiest. Yet he still trys and when he gets tired of pushing those leg muscles on the peddles, he stands and walks the bike. It's a sight to see. He definately inherited my short legs and longer torso. Here's prayin' that can still change! Poor kid!

So, between walking the bike, playing in puddles, resting our legs and picking up rocks to find homes for them in our pockets ... we enjoyed our morning stroll! We also enjoyed the company of Ma Belle CJ. She likes to keep us safe and explore the countryside too!
