Legacy

This morning I had the opportunity to read a friend's blog post.  It was all about a legacy of 66 years.  Take a peek at it and be encouraged.  You will find it here. 

And that brought me to my own family: My parents, G's parents.  Both sets celebrated 50 years of marriage back in 2005.  We realized that there is nothing more valuable in this day and age, than a family making the conscience decision, despite failures and triumphs, to remember their vow until death do we part.  We are incredibly blessed to say that the marriage legacy our parents have, is one to emulate.  (By the way, my parent's book Happy Together is available through amazon.ca or .com, as well as their website.)

Having said that, it comes down to the little decisions EACH day.  Kinda like the note I found on my counter this morning.  A little 'diddy' from my love.  Something to make me smile and look at the IMPORTANT things we are to put our focus on, not the crap that gains the majority of our attention everyday. 

So today ... I dare ya to do something for your love.  Something small.  Something big. Something that puts your focus back on them and the importance of your relationship. Now to get my creative juices flowing!
