Inspired

I haven't even looked at my blog in a couple days ... or more for that matter! There is so much to say, but really only two things matter.

1) Some of you know that my niece-in-law was to go in for surgery last Friday. After a full day waiting for her turn under the knife (surgery was orginally planned for 7am), she was sent home at 3pm and told to return on Monday for her surgery. From what I understand, her surgery went as planned yesterday, but I am still waiting to hear any more details. Please continue to pray for V as she recovers and plans for Chemo and radiation in a week or so.

2) A girlfriend of mine from highschool just recently underwent surgery for Kidney cancer, lost a family member, is dealing with cancer in another family member and her husband lost his job! All this, and during her own recovery had her dog welcome her home by peeing on her! Anyway ... you could say she has had a hard couple months and then just last week she openned her home to two baby girls needing love and shelter. Those girlz have found the perfect home, temporary as it may be. Please, take a moment to read her blog here and say a prayer for people like her! Thank you girl ... you inspire me!

PS  V's surgery went well, but of course was intense.  Her recovery is now in progress and the side effects (dizziness, nausea) are less than the her previous surgery.
