Life is a busy one these days. Between moving house, moving province, having a baby and raising a 5 year old prince charming, my days are blurring together! On top of all these things, I have discovered that I am a victim of Identity Fraud AND my employer is trying to sabotage the rest of my Preventative Withdrawal leave (pregnancy leave in my field of education). Just the icing on the cake ...
Then there's a REAL cake ... today is my son's 5th birthday. Some of you know of our birthday movie date to Happy Feet 2. I thought it was a great idea as Happy Feet 1 is often played in the DVD player. And it was a great idea. With popcorn and the theatre almost completely to ourselves, we were set!
Well, at least for the first 20 minutes ... after that you found us here ...
I have a precious gift in Luciano. He was my fourth pregnancy, but my first born. He is an expressive young lad, who has a very sensitive side to him. And Happy Feet Two!? Well, it was 'just too scary' for him. Now, I probably could have cuddled and loved him through it, but he seemed beside himself in really not wanting to watch the rest. Plus ... it IS his birthday!
So we moved on.
Tonight we'll settle in for his birthday dinner of choice - Mac'n'Cheese, with some GREAT cupcakes we baked and decorated together ...
... and yes. HE picked the pink icing. Really!!! Not sure what to do about that!
So Happy 5th baby! You're gonna make a great BIG bro!
