Not to mention, that as a teenager I always told my mom I would never be a 50 year old parent with a teenager at home!! My parents were 36 & 37 when I was born and had already raised my two older sisters, 16 & 18 years OLDER than me! Yup ... you heard me ...
ANYHOO ... here I am. Preggo for the 5th time. Looking forward to meeting my little man - let's hope the technician saw the evidence as such, and not some thumb or umbilical chord!! It's a tough pregnancy. I'm not a HUGE fan of being pregnant to start with, never mind in my late thirties ... this body just ain't the same you know!? I'm ex.haus.ted most of the time, watching my husband pack for our provincial move in 3 wks and trying to keep the raw fruits and veggies cut up and into my little family's bellies!
None the less, it's a privilege ... I guess. I always thought there was probably an easier way to incubate an infant ... not better, just easier. Maybe that's just selfishness speaking ... whatever. It is what it is, and I'm grateful to be able to have just one other little man to share my life with.
And just yesterday, two little hats I ordered came in ... they are precious. To think that each of us started this small. Blows my mind really. I'm looking forward to the pix of little Matteo with these bonnets. Ordered them here. Fun!

So, seven-ish weeks to go for this, 3 for the move and starting to get a little overwhelmed. Taking the following to heart as I head into this ca-Raaazy season!!
Psalm 90:17 (MSG)
And let the loveliness of our Lord, our God, rest on us, confirming the work that we do. Oh, yes. Affirm the work that we do!
