Urbandictionary.com ... Interesting!

So a friend on FB posted a comment about inputting your name at urbandictionary.com. Thought I would try it, tho I'm not one for these types of things. Once I typed my name, I realized that I could pick the one that best suites me ... there were a few to pick from thanks to Alexandra's across the globe! The definitions with 'spicy booty' or 'goddess', I tried to avoid, and decided that the first one was the best "G" rated one and probably the most accurate one that I could comment on. So here goes ...

  • One of the best friends you could ever meet. I SURE HOPE SO ... although I fail regulary!
  • Sometimes quiet and patient but when she's around a group shes wild and fun. IF you know me at all, your first impression was probably - 'YAH right", but there are times that the quiet and patient come out ... just not as much as the wild and fun! (Although that seems to be dwindling in my older age ... yuck!)
  • She is always there to listen to you and give you a hug if you need one. Hugger, yes ... and listening is something I really enjoy doing now and strive to do it more often. Again, something I have learned with my 'older' age!
  • She is willing to try anything and is very athletic. Won't try new food, but LOVE sports!
  • She can talk for hours or just have no idea what's going on. I can and I enjoy it! Specially when I am getting caught up with girlfriends of old ...
  • She is an overall great person to be around. I sure hope so ... and hopefully achieving it most of the time!
So, there's my definition according to Urban Dictionary. There are more important places I go to to try and define me though. For instance ... John 15 from the best selling book of all time, either translation-here or here-specifically verse 4.

I am, and have always been a person to get things done! Ask my hubby, or my parents. Things often got done too fast, just to see them completed. That has caused me to accomplish many things However, it has also caused me to focus on tasks of mine and not the who of me. I find that John 15 gives me that refocus. The definition of who we are to be. Abiding does not require much of a 'do', but more of a focus and determination. I have the determination and am now working on the focus.

Part of my definition - being an abider. Abiding in the One that will cause me to produce fruit ... fruit that is purposeful! Just a portion of what I would like a definition of me to have in it!

You? What's your definition, or your goal definition!?
