From Toddler-hood to Preschooler!

There are a few milestones in my life.  One was almost 13 years ago when I got married.  One was 14 years ago when I graduated as an Early Childhood Educator.  And one was just over three years ago when I carried my fourth pregnancy full-term and welcomed my precious son into the world!

And another milestone was just this month as we celebrated Buddy's 3rd birthday.  It seems like just yesterday I was trying to grasp the idea of being a mother, getting over the physical pain of a C-section and making sure there was enough formula for the next 3 feedings!  Now ... well now I am loving almost every moment of a preschoolers world (mind you that is my career choice and my favourite age of youngsters!) and juggling life as a working mom ... one who has been down for the count with illness after illness for the past 3 weeks!

Anyhoo ... we had a great little party for him.  Probably the last 'spontaneous' party as the next ones will probably need some sort of program, entertainer or activity to participate in.  We enjoyed our friends, he enjoyed his friends and of course the cake and ice cream!

So for those family and friends who were unable to be a part of the evening due to distance or life situations, you can get a glimpse here and know that you are continually a part of our thoughts and prayers.
