Today is a special day for many of you ladies! Mother's Day ...
I have to say this is my third Mother's Day with Buddy, and I can't imagine not being his mom. When I see his little face, here his "I yuv-u" voice, I melt. There are times I don't melt too, but they are soooo overshadowed by the better moments.
Then there's the thought that I am a Mother four times over who has yet to meet the precious faces of the ones who didn't make it. It may seem like a sad thing to hear, but I am soooo thankful for the path that those challenges walk me through. They have brought me to a different place I am sure. And I am eternally grateful for that place and for the little faces I'm gonna see when my days here on earth are over. Wow ... that will be one amazing day ...
On a more challenging note, today G is with his family once again as they stand by his sister's side in her last days of Cancer. I have no new news as of the time I post this blog entry. She is still aware of her surroundings, but in severe pain despite the high levels of morphine. She truly only has days left.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for G's family-especially today, Mothers Day. This is definitely the hardest one for them to date. They are relying on your thoughts and prayers today. Thank you!
