I don't know how many of you are parents. I am a mom to one. One handsome, energy-filled, blue eyed, blonde hair boy. He is such a blessing in my life. There are days that seem completely overwhelming, (sometimes because I'm a mom) and there days that are the exact opposite and I could take on the world. I'm right in between both those days right now!
However, today I enjoyed being a part of the morning service, practicing with the kids for our special Christmas presentation next week. When I got home, I enjoyed an afternoon making Corn and Bacon Chowder soup (a recipe from my highschool twin ... we'll see how I did later this evening!), napping-one of my favourite Sunday afternoon activities and now bloggin'! Not bad for a Sunday. In fact, I am quite enjoying myself. The best end to the day would be watching the Habs play! Oh well, maybe a good movie will suffice.
Lina Update - She has had a great few days. She is keeping her meals down, enjoying the family visits and is really alert. She is no longer on specific meds that I believe were giving her a really hard time. G enjoyed lunch with her on Friday and we look forward to seeing her early this week.
Dad Norford Update - Dad is a regular blogger himself! In fact, the results of his tests were blogged about before we were able to chat on the phone! So to keep updated on Daddy, check out his blog here. Besides, his writing is much more lively than mine ...
