Girlfriends & 12 Days of Christmas - Day One

Last night was our Christmas GNT (Girls Night Together).  Our evening together where we exchanged our favouite, creative gifts.  It was a really great time together.  And the gifts meant so much because of how they synbolized each of the givers.
  1. J brought us all her TO DIE FOR BROWNIES - that's our name for them.  It is suits them just right.  They were perfect!  I ate one for breakfast and lunch.  There are a few left over for dinner!
  2. S gave us all a sponge and wrote on it "Be still and know that I am God".  Then she gave us some dishwasher detergent bricks so that that we actually stopped and let something else do the cleaning!  She knows how to help us STOP!
  3. L has always been known for helping us ladies keep our homes in order and smelling right (candles, wall flowers etc).  This time she have us all her favouite lip gloss to make sure we took care of ourselves over the holidays!  Mine is PINK GRAPEFRUIT.  Perfect!
  4. T thought of the perfect Christmas ornament for each of us.  S got a classy teapot (She looooves her tea), L got a beautiful red bow (She is decorator extrodonaire), J got beautiful star (She truly outshines all of us) and P got a candy cane ornament (She the fun and sweet one).
My gift this year was time.  I realized that time offen escapes us.  Especially at Christmas.  So this year, I gave them all my version of the 12 Days of Christmas.  I want to share them with you as well.  Here's to the first Day of Christmas.   I hope you have a few moments to read, think and pray during this holiday season.
