Update on Robin Red

So the robin-lets (What are those babies called anyway, chicks?) have arrived. The eggs are no longer. We are constantly watching to see Momma feed them. In fact, it looks like Daddy or Aunty or Uncle or friend, have come to help too ... 2 Robin Reds are taking turns ... one keeps the babies warm, and one finds the food!
There is nothing harder than getting pictures of this family in action. If I am on the deck, there's no movement in the nest. In the end, I stood on a stool, inside my patio door, hoping that my zoom lense could get a pic! So ... here's what we got. Not too bad, I guess!

Workin' as a team!

Feed me ... feed me! Mmmmm, worms!

I can't reach any higher Momma!

Now settle down babes ... more's on the way!

That is so bizarre, I've never seen two females feed chicks before. Baby birds, hatchlings. What ARE they called? I'm gonna ask Todd's mom. She's a birder.
