Robin in a tree ... I mean on a deck!

You know it's Spring when you look outside and see leaves and buds, and of course birds! Well, we know it's Spring 'cause little Robin Red sits on her eggs on our deck. A week or so ago, I watched her fly around, checking for the best place to take residence, and it ended up being on our deck! We watched her make the nest, and everyday we see her sitting there, flying back and forth with food and manning her precious eggs. I am looking forward to the day I see and hear the little birdies ... at least I think I am! This is one of the best reasons to live in the country!

This is kinda scary pic of a Robin Red ... but then I look pretty scary too when I am guarding my precious!
