Well ... I seem to have a lot more time on my hands now that the Habs have done their best, the second series! No semi finals for these guys. I wonder what is playing out in their minds right now? What are the questions they are asking of themselves and of their teammates?
Did we do our best, or just the basic?
This is further than last year, but will we ever make the finals?
Did we even want the cup in the first place?
Was that where we missed the boat?
Who knows! They are hockey players that earn WAY too much money for what they do ... but they are good at it.
Makes me get reflective and ask if I am worth what I get paid ... NOTHING! Hopefully I strive beyond my "salary" despite the challenges in and outside my head. I think that's gonna be my goal for at least today and tomorrow. ... be worth more than anyone could pay me no matter which hat I'm wearing!
