Family Vacation

We have arrived! 

Luciano and I actually arrived in Alberta last Thursday and are now visiting my family just south of Calgary.  My sister from NZ arrived today and us three sisters are looking forward to spending some time together over the next few days.  Time is short, but we will make the most of it!

As for our flight ... considering Luciano had an ear infection and started antibiotics just 36 hrs before we left, the flight was fairly uneventful.  There was a lot of turbulence, but other than that, Buddy was a champ and I was so impressed with how much of a preschooler he is in every way.  His attitude, his cooperation level and his excitement were PERFECT!  Needless to say, when we arrived, we headed straight for WalMart and bought him a new Veggie Tales movie!  He's a great kid.

My sisters place is a busy one ... weddings, guests, construction.  The Norland is a happening place!  Buddy and I have swam everyday (if not twice!) thanks to the indoor pool.  The weather has been fairly lousy with rain here in Alberta, you may have heard!  And so we are grateful for the pool being indoors.  Family activities and meals have been in abundance and we look forward to a few more over the next few days.

As for me ... I have come down with a dental crisis.  Those of you who know me, know my fear and anxiety when it comes to dentists.  Well, my procrastination in preventative dental care has caught up with me.  I am now on antibiotics for an absest and will be needing a root canal on my return home. AAAARRRRGGGH!  Preventative care people.  Preventative care!  No more needs to be said.  I learned my lesson the hard way.

So, hopefully I will have some pix to post in the next couple dayz ... until then, enjoy your June!  It's almost over!
