Rainy Day Activities

Typically on a rainy day you would find Gino and I inside. Once in awhile I'll take a walk in the rain, but it has to be raining lightly and somewhat warm outside. My son however, would be outside no matter what the weather.

Needless to say, this past weekend, it was raining. We were also having Gino's family over since his sister and kids from Alberta were visiting. The plan was to spend the afternoon outside enjoying the yard and relaxing. And who would want to change that plan? Not us! We spent the day outside, with a bonfire and marshmellows hangin' out with family. That's just what you do when the fam comes to visit.

"Should we stay outside or head inside?"

How 'bout just play on the wet grass with ma tante Nancy?! And daddy can start the fire ... which he is very good at I might add!

or he can play with Cooper ... Cooper likes to run around!

And then when it's over, mom will dry me up and let me hangout with my buddy Alex.

(Miss you Alex ... went into your room today and with my arms and shoulders shrugged realized you weren't there! )
