Busy weekend ...

What do you call someone who decides to invite 40 odd people to a backyard BBQ?
CRAZY! Not really ... more like FUN!

So this past Sunday, we had a bunch of friends and their families over for a BBQ and these are some of the crazy and not-so-crazy moments!

Pierre took care of the grill ...

while I chilled with some friends ... (you can actually see my son eating on the left ... I was taking care of him you know!)

And Gino just ate ... ya right. I guess most of our work was done already. Or so we thought ...

Like father, like son ... eating! Yup, that's green pepper my son is eating!! Go Buddy!

And of course the kids ate too ...
"Red please"
"I want Purple"
"Do you have any orange left?"
I was surrounded!

And then I went CRAZY!!!

Buddy's first popsicle ... mmmm! Nice and cold! (Oh ... and a yellow pepper in his other hand! Apparently, they go well together!)

And a few others coolin' off with popsicles, but they passed on the peppers. I can't imagine why!!?

Of course there was time to take a little dip in the pool ... well, the girls stayed there the whole time really.

And when my son was finished eating, he decided to check out the girls ... uh... I mean pool. This 38 degree weather needs some water dippin'!

And while some cooled off in the pool, others checked out the pond in the front yard...or maybe these boyz were just posin for the camera ...

But of course Kiki didn't stay still for long ... she was on a hunt ... for somethin our pond has a few of ...

Mr Frog! I think she caught about 12 that afternoon. The funniest thing is NO boyz even touched the frogs. At least while I was around, it was Kiki who was catching the frogs!

But the boyz were really good at posing to look as if they were going to catch one!

So our afternoon was AWESOME! I love having friends and their kids around. It makes for a crazy fun time ... I love FUN!

Oh, and one more thing ... a shout out to my girlfriend Julie for actuallly grabbing my camera and taking some shots. I mean, I was a pretty busy hostess between chillin and handing out popsicles! Come on!!

My girl Julie!
