2008 and finally starting to BLOG!

So ... my girlfriend with 4 kids, 3 rabbits, 2 cats, 2 hamsters, 2 rats, a dog, a hubby has time for this blogging thing, so I thought I should figure it out too! (Did I mention she home schools too?!) Not too mention my 71 year old mom is cool and hip enough to know about this blogging stuff, I should get into the 21st century, don't you think? So, we'll give it a try and see how often I remember to get here and post somethin'!
